Our Gohumanosuke Yoshihro Tsuchime series is top of the line and popular among home and pro chefs. The VG-10 core is clad between 11 layers of nickel, 6 layers of SUS420 and 5 layers of J1 stainless steel, creating the a 45 layer Damascus, then hand hammered to create the tsuchime finish which helps release food that might stick to the blade.
