Kikuichi’s VG-1 Stainless series is one of their longest standing Western style blades. Light and comfortable, once you pick one up, you won’t want to put it down. Hand forged in the technique of Warikomi, the core is VG-1, sometimes called V-Gold, with a cladding of SUS405. The full tang handle made from Mahogany Pakka Wood is comfortable, durable and heat resistant. A Sujibiki is a slicing knife. It's long and narrow blade assists slicing through meat or vegetables smoothly and precisely. It has a profile similar to a Japanese Yanagi which helps for cutting sushi sashimi and rolls with ease.
