This Gin-San Sanmai series is the perfect example of the Japanese design philosophy Shibui,  a balance of simplicity and complexity. The simple elegance and austere look, create a powerful appearance. The three-layer blade with Gin-San (Silver-3) core is thin, strong, and precise; and the walnut octagonal handle provides a comfortable grip. Gyuto (Chefs Knife) is multipurpose and offers some of the most versatile cutting applications ranging from vegetable prep to meat and fish butchery. You will find that a Gyuto has a curved blade that allows for back and forth rocking, and quick and agile slicing.
