Introducing our Nakiri from Gohumanosuke Yoshihiro. A vegetable powerhouse designed to excel in cutting and prepping vegetables. Its double-bevel design draws inspiration from the Japanese single-bevel Usuba, featuring a thin spine, squared tip, and a wide, straight profile.
Crafted with a sanmai hybrid blade, our Nakiri offers the best of both worlds. The core is made of Yasuki grade Blue #2 high-carbon steel, encased between layers of SUS-410 stainless steel. This unique construction ensures a hard cutting edge, achieving a long-lasting razor-sharpness, while providing the convenience and durability of stainless steel.
The hammered texture (Tsuchime) and Nashiji dappling on the blade serve a dual purpose, enhancing both aesthetics and functionality by preventing food from sticking. Complementing this superior blade is a western-style black Pakkawood handle, adding comfort, durability, toughness, and heat resistance to elevate your vegetable preparation experience.
