Steelport 6” Chef Knife – Compact Precision, Full-Sized Performance

The Steelport 6” Chef Knife delivers the versatility of a full-sized chef knife in a more compact, agile form—ideal for cooks who prefer a shorter blade or have limited prep space. Sharing the same blade height, width, and contoured handle as the 8” version, the 6” model offers enhanced maneuverability with a slightly shorter blade and a more pronounced curve at the tip for precision cutting.

The curved tip increases cutting surface area and aligns naturally with the finger groove in the choil, supporting a secure and comfortable pinch grip. A rounded spine and smoothed edges ensure all-day comfort and control.

Forged from a single piece of 52100 carbon steel, Steelport knives undergo a proprietary differential heat treatment, achieving 65 HRC at the edge for lasting sharpness and a softer spine for added durability. The integral bolster and hand-polished finish provide excellent balance and a seamless transition from handle to blade.

Fitted with a full-size handle made from stabilized Oregon Big Leaf Maple Burl, the 6” Chef Knife offers a natural, secure grip that resists shrinking and swelling—perfect for all hand sizes and demanding kitchen environments.
