From chopping vegetables and slicing proteins to fine mincing and detailed cuts, this versatile blade is built for it all.

Its thoughtfully crafted shape includes a sheepsfoot-style tip for safe, controlled slicing and a finger groove at the heel, providing enhanced grip and comfort in a natural pinch hold. A rounded spine and polished surfaces throughout ensure lasting comfort during long prep sessions.

Forged from a single piece of 52100 carbon steel, this knife undergoes Steelport’s proprietary differential heat treatment, achieving 65 HRC at the blade for exceptional edge retention and 30 HRC at the spine for lifelong toughness. An integral bolster and hand-polished finish create excellent balance and a smooth transition from handle to blade.

The handle—crafted from locally sourced Oregon Big Leaf Maple Burl—is stabilized with resin to resist shrinking, swelling, or warping. Its contoured design and 2" blade height at the heel ensure comfort and finger clearance for all hand sizes.
