The QUIRÉLOIS mandoline by Chiba Kogyosyo is a razor-sharp, highly efficient slicer built to keep your prep fast, clean, and consistent. Designed for both home and professional kitchens, it handles everything from fine julienne to thicker slices with ease.
Out of the box, the QUIRÉLOIS includes an adjustable flat blade (up to 3mm depth) along with two interchangeable comb blades (1mm and 2.5mm), giving you a strong foundation for everyday prep. For added versatility, additional blade sizes are available separately—perfect for expanding your range of cuts or replacing your most-used blades over time. A thoughtful design detail: the protective finger guard snaps securely into the back of the unit, so it stays with the tool and doesn’t get lost in the drawer. The blade is removable for sharpening, and cleanup is simple—just warm water and a soft brush will keep everything in top condition.
Quirelois (pronounced “kee-re-lwa”) is a playful nod to sharpness in Japanese—a cheeky way of saying, “Wow, that’s sharp!”
