Kikuichi’s VG-1 Stainless series is one of their longest standing Western style blades. Light and comfortable, once you pick one up, you won’t want to put it down. Hand forged in the technique of Warikomi, the core is VG-1, sometimes called V-Gold, with a cladding of SUS405. The full tang handle made from Mahogany Pakka Wood is comfortable, durable and heat resistant. Nakiris are typically a double bevel knife specifically designed to work with vegetables. The design is derived from the Japanese single bevel Usuba with a very thin spine, squared tip, wide and straight profile.
